Capital Cities Asset Management (CCAM) is a
privately-owned investment management firm founded in 1993. CCAM employs a flexible investment approach using
sector, style, and geographic rotation strategies, aimed at achieving portfolio growth.
In 1991, Ron Rowland became a registered investment advisor doing business as The Sector Ace.
Numerous subscribers wanted Ron to provide an investment vehicle that used the strategies portrayed in his
Sector Ace newsletter. In mid 1993, he formed a hedge fund, RSM Sector Partnership, in order to
provide that vehicle. He quickly learned that most investors preferred separate account management versus
pooled assets and other restrictions associated with hedge fund investing. Therefore, he formed Capital Cities
Asset Management (CCAM), a registered investment advisor, in late 1993 to provide separate account management
services.
CCAM's unique investment formula and services have now attracted a group of over 200 client families
located throughout the country. A focus on active management and personal attention has added to CCAM's
success in helping clients feel more comfortable about the growth of their investments and financial
plans.
